Telephones & Faxes
Many people believe that it means getting phone calls from pesky
sales people, but telemarketing is still a very important tool for
many types of business. It is the personal touch of actually talking
to another person that some people actually prefer. This article
goes over some of the different types of telemarketing and covers
the good and bad reasons why this form of advertising is associated
with. There have been recent laws passed that have affected the
industry of telemarketing, but I believe as long as people are talking
to each other it will always be around.
So why hasn't every company gone with VoIP? I suspect most companies
have not made the change because, first, they remember the nightmare
expenses of putting in a new phone system from previous upgrade
experiences, but that expense has been eliminated, just like long
distance charges, with the installation of VoIP. Secondly, many
people, like me before our company put in VoIP, simply don't know
enough about VoIP. This article provides some information about
VoIP.
Communicating in today's business world has never been easier with
email and faxes, but one medium of communication has been around
for a long time and will continue to be the most essential part
of office communication - the telephone. While traditional phones
are used mainly in home and office settings, an office phone system
is designed to enable all users to share the same telephone line
rather than using individual telephones.
As small business communications play such a great role in most
companies futures we can hardly imagine them without cell-phones,
faxes, regular mail services, emails and of course telephones, it's
very important that our communication cost are held down to a minimum.
The cheapest and the easiest way to use services like these can't
replace the personal touch provided by phone and it's alternative
- IP phone. Although these networks are very reliable for voice
communication, they are not well suited to service today's explosive
growth of digital communication applications.
With the economy as it is, many companies find themselves doing
some quick belt-tightening. Now it's all about lowering your overhead:
it's all about operating as efficiently and as inexpensively as
possible. Now, as any business management consultant will tell you,
one of the easiest ways to immediately lower that overhead -- sometimes
by a significant amount -- is by looking at your costs for utilities,
and doing some auditing.
